TREASURE HUNT

ABOUT READATHON

One major problem our young children in Ghana public schools are facing is the inability to read. Most children at the basic level of education have lost interest in reading and this have contributed to a total number of students struggling with the foundational reading and the inability to comprehend basic English text. We believe the cause of the problem is not just interest lost, but also reading not made fun for students. How do we intend to make reading fun for students?

We strongly believe that just like any other competition, Read-A-Thon from the word 'Reading-Marathon' is going to excite a lot of children and push them out of their comfort zones. Read-A-Thon challenges are reading competitions mostly done on the internet, by other people in other countries and with that I hardly see people in Ghana my country participate.
